Either from our dedicated survey vessels or by installing our equipment onto clients vessels. It typically takes between 24 and 48 hours to mobilise a vessel and the equipment is air freighted from the UK.

Coastal Surveys

Our high resolution surveys of the coastal margins have been recognised as world leading. We are approaching land survey accuracy of +/- 3cm in x,y and z from a moving platform and can confirm the deflection angle to better than 0.05 degrees. These surveys can be performed at the same time as an IHO Special Order harbour & approaches survey.

Marine Habitat Survey

By using the latest backscatter processing techniques NetSurvey can deliver high resolution seabed mapping of not only the bathymetry but also to classify the seabed sediment too. This will allow you to use the CUBE algorithm to speed up your processing. Once you have finished your data cleaning/processing in Fledermaus you can unload the changes back to the fbt files and use these within mbsystem or GMT as you do currently. The files seems to load really quickly and that is both for creating DTMs and also for creating the PFM data structure which Fledermaus uses to process the data.

Here are some screen captures showing the lines and a grid in 2D in DMagic and then the PFM loaded into Fledermaus. Lastly a point cloud view coloured by line in the 3DEditor where you can reject bad points.

NetSurvey Staff Dedication

This is dedication to a company. 30 cms of snow, roads shut and Mark, Ian, Max and Paul walk the 2 miles from the house in Great Boughton to the office!

Winter Scene from our office

Winter has been here for about a week now but today is really pretty. The best thing is that it is very simple to do an very cost effective. You can collect both at the same time or go for laser at low water and multibeam at highwater to get a bit of overlap. Other great applications are cliffs, bridges, beachfronts, basically anywhere you want seamless coastal zone data.
