Thank you for visiting our Stand at OI2010

I would like to thank you for visiting our stand at OI2010. I hope that you found our past projects and high resolution mapping techniques interesting. To recap on what we offer we can provide the following services;

Charting Surveys;

We have a long track record in performing IHO Order 1A surveys worldwide. Either from our dedicated survey vessels or by installing our equipment onto clients vessels. It typically takes between 24 and 48 hours to mobilise a vessel and the equipment is air freighted from the UK.

Coastal Surveys

Our high resolution surveys of the coastal margins have been recognised as world leading. We use sophisticated techniques to ensure that the bathymetric data ties in with the land survey data. The result of this is a seamless 3D digital terrain model that can be used for planning and storm/erosion assessment.

High resolution pipeline and site surveys

We specialise in delivering innovative solutions. Our procedures for Out-Of-Straightness surveys in deepwater and our QC routines have been adopted by major oil and gas companies as the new standard.

Port & Harbour Surveys

NetSurvey can provide a service that is second to none in the survey industry for ports and harbour surveys. Our work on quay wall deformation and damage surveys is ground breaking. We are approaching land survey accuracy of +/- 3cm in x,y and z from a moving platform and can confirm the deflection angle to better than 0.05 degrees. These surveys can be performed at the same time as an IHO Special Order harbour & approaches survey.

Marine Habitat Survey

By using the latest backscatter processing techniques NetSurvey can deliver high resolution seabed mapping of not only the bathymetry but also to classify the seabed sediment too. The following images are taken from a recent survey of chalk reefs south of the Isle of Wight.

NetSurvey at OI2010

We had an excellent week at OI2010 in London last week. The highly visual stand attracted a large number of visitors from Oil and Gas majors down to small survey companies. Visitors were particularly keen on our laser integration and also the very high standard of our work

Major Caris HIPS hotfix

There was a major bug in a previous HIPS 7 hotfix release to do with sound velocity, in that it didn't apply it properly. Caris have recently released a fix for this and it should be downloaded by anyone using HIPS 7 and applying Sound velocity corrections to their data. The Caris text is as follows;

*** Important Notice - Hotfix 3 now available ***

Hotfix 3 for HIPS/SIPS 7.0.1 is now available for download via the Online Customer Service webpage (http://support.caris.com). This hotfix addresses the previously reported SVC issue reported in the February 23rd notice. Once this hotfix has been installed, it may be required that users re-run any SVC that had been previously carried out in HIPS/SIPS 7.0.1 (Hotfixes 1-2) with the aforementioned inputs and options. We apologize greatly for any inconveniences or confusion that this may have caused.
